By Ferry Boat:  We strongly recommend to get the ferry from Kymi

It is the sortest way (only 2hrs and 15 min) and the cheapest also (18 Euros one way).

Ferryboats connect the island with Volos and Agios Konstantinos (4hrs.and 30min). During the summer it has also connections with Thessaloniki (about 8 hrs) and Kymi (2 hrs and 15 min).At this moment two ferry companies are coming to Alonissos, GA Ferries & Hellas Ferries.

By Hydrofoils or Catamaran

Hydrofoils connect the island with Volos and Agios Konstantinos(2hrs and 55min).These connections link also Alonissos to nearby Skopelos, Skiathos, Skyros, Evia.

When the winter timetable is in force there is a limited daily service to Alonissos from Volos and Agios Konstantinos via Skiathos.  The summer timetable starts mid-June to mid-September and the number of crossings to the island of Alonissos improves significantly.  The main problem encountered by most travellers is that certain departures are very popular and quickly get booked.  Danger times are Friday and Sunday afternoons when Greeks spend weekends away, either side of Greek bank holidays and also travel company transfer days when they block-book seats for their clients.

If you want to check the timetable of ferries and hydrofoils to Alonissos then some options are:
