Its design is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen including breakfast table and a comfortably furnished living room, all decorated in the traditional island style. Clearly though, its best feature is the stunning view of the sea and neighbouring islands from the windows and veranda. From the living area there are doors leading to a WC/shower room and a bedroom with double bed and sea facing windows. EXTERIOR The beautiful cottage is made entirely of local stone and blends perfectly with the nature around. The veranda is furnished with dining table and chairs to enjoy the fabulous views over long, leisurely meals. Steps from the veranda lead to a steep path (75m approx) to the pebbly beach of Vamvakies where you find a small pier, convenient for mooring a rented boat, which is a must to explore the many small beaches and coves along the coastline. The cottage is reached by a narrow foot path approximately 100 meters from the main road. SURROUNDINGS Fisherman?s Cottage is bordered by olive groves and from its hillside position, looks out across the sea toward the deserted island of Peristera and the national Marine Park of Greece. It is in close proximity to the small fishing hamlet of Kalamakia so a short boat ride can take you for sumptuous meals at traditional quay side tavernas that specialize in local cuisine. A 10 minute drive towards the South, in a beautiful inlet, lies the charming fishing village of Steni Vala with turquoise blue waters and a waterfront lined with fish tavernas. There is a small beach at Steni Vala as well as a mini-market for most essentials. A further 20 minute drive from Steni Vala, is the main port town of Patitiri. A 15 minute drive towards the North will take you to one of the best beaches on the island namely, Agios Dimitrios. SUITABILITY Fisherman's Cottage is the perfect spot for couples looking for a romantic get-away or a place to really unwind from the stresses of everyday life. For larger parties wanting this exquisite location by the sea, Villa Poseidon is in close proximity to Fisherman?s' cottage and the villas can be booked together.

TRANSFERS The services of a Thalpos representative are included in the rental cost. Our representative will meet you on the port of Skopelos/Alonissos upon arrival (1st arriving party for each property) and will give you a Welcome Letter which will include telephone numbers for our office and representatives. Also included will be driving instructions and a map to get to your property independently if you have not booked an escorted transfer with us AND are arriving before 19:00. SERVICES Thalpos provides cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability. The main Thalpos Holidays Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town, although a personal villa visit will be made by our representative the day following your arrival to answer any individual queries. Our staff can help you arrange excursions and car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that may be taking place during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience. In addition, a Thalpos Holidays villa folder will be found in each villa, giving detailed information about the villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Even though sometimes possible, clients should not expect to check-in earlier than 14:00. On departure the accommodation must be vacated by 11:00 unless otherwise arranged with our Service Office.
